In order to leverage this inbuilt feature to transfer files faster, a developer has come up with an app called Xender. What this app does is let you share files between your Android devices at a much faster rate than any other wireless medium, Bluetooth, for example.

The app that you are going to use does not require an active 3G or any kind of data connection. All you need to have is a device that supports WiFi and you are good to go.

7. Now, launch Xender on your other device that you want to send your file from, and Click on the "PLUS ICON". On the next Screen click on "JOIN GROUP"
it should display the sharing link that you have created on your first device. Then Click on it To Connect.
9. You are done. You have successfully set up a sharing network between your Android devices. You can now send files on you Android Using Xender at a much faster rate – a couple of minutes for a movie.
