Xiaomi MI 6 to Feature​ a 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM and Snapdragon 835 Chipset

Xiaomi did not attend the mwc event that took place a few weeks ago, but that doesn't mean the company doesn't plan on releasing more phones this year.

According to xiaomi, two more devices will be added to their MI series this year and those are the xiaomi Mi 6 and the Mi 6 plus. If you are familiar with the Xiaomi brand then you already know that the Mi series is the brands flagship line.

Xiaomi is well known for releasing pretty cheap phones with great specs. The specs of the Xiaomi MI 6 and MI 6 plus has just been leaked online and it is expected to compete with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8.
Below is the leaked spec of the upcoming Xiaomi MI 6 and MI 6 plus.

Xiaomi MI 6:

The Xiaomi MI 6 which is expected to feature a 5.5inch full HD display will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset with a. 2.45ghz quad-core processor and Adreno 540 GPU.

The phone will come in two different variants which are the 4GB RAM with a 64GB ROM version and also the 6GB RAM with a 128GB ROM version. It's also expected to come with a 19-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixels front facing camera.

Xiaomi MI 6 Plus:

The MI 6 plus on the other hand is expected to feature a larger 5.7 inch full HD display and also run on the latest Android 7 Nougat straight out of the box. The MI 6 plus will also feature the same Snapdragon 835 chipset as the Mi 6 and Adreno 540 GPU.

Unlike the Mi 6, the MI 6 plus will come in a single variant of 6GB RAM and an internal storage of 128GB. The phone will feature a dual-camera setup with 12MP Sony IMX362 sensor and an 8MP front camera.

For now we have no idea on what the price will be and also when it will be released. Also note that this are rumoured specs and now official, but it's the closest thing we have to wait for the official spec. I will try to keep you guys updated as the official specs drops.
