how to send messages with Skype lite
We all know very well that Skype is one of the most widely used communication services around the world, especially when it comes to video calling. Hence, to make it more efficient, recently, the tech giant Microsoft has launched Skype Lite via which you can send messages through SMS.
Now Skype Lite Will Allow You To Send Messages Through SMSSkype is one of the most widely used communication services around the world, especially when it comes to video calling. However, Skype is a somewhat clumsy tool for certain less capable and slower data-linking devices. Faced with this situation, the tech giant Microsoft has launched Skype Lite, focused on the Indian market.
In the latest update of the application, Microsoft has added several interesting features focused on connecting Skype with SMS.
SMS is one of the main means of communication used by users and Microsoft, having full knowledge of this, has made several efforts to connect SMS to its communication service, Skype. In Windows Mobile, we can already use Skype as the default application for SMS and the latest developments in Skype Lite for Android bring it to a new level.
It’s called SMS Insights and brings a small revolution in SMS consumption by users. We usually view the SMS in chronological order, with the default content that the sender sent us. This new Skype Lite feature organizes SMS by category: finance, shopping, promotions, travel, reminders, among others.
In addition to cataloging and organizing messages, SMS Insights will give a glimpse of the most important information the message contents using artificial intelligence algorithms.
This new ability of Skype Lite can still have a deeper interaction with the user. As an example, imagine that you receive an SMS notifying you that a transaction has been made to your bank account.
In the Insights section of Skype Lite, you can see the amount of the transaction, such as the current balance of the account and the possibility of performing other operations. This capacity is extended to other categories and is not limited to the category of finance.
By cataloging all the information and making it organized and even allowing the user to interact with SMS in a more advanced way,
Skype Lite brings a small revolution in SMS consumption and makes the user experience much more user-friendly and productive.
Skype claims that all operations are performed locally on the phone itself, ensuring that it does not read or store SMS content. For now, Skype Lite is only available in India, but will probably soon be extended to the rest of the world.
