The Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) has announced data rollover policy to be implemented by all telecommunications companies in Nigeria, including MTN, Glo, Airtel and 9mobile. However, MTN seems to be the first network provider to implement the feature.

NCC has decided to implement a data rollover policy for all networks in Nigeria, This feature allows us to use our expired or unfinished data bundle in the following month. A second chance would be given of 1 to 14 days extra, depending on your data bundle.

How Data Rollover Feature Works

Data Rollover is a free feature on all new Internet Data plans. It rolls over unused daily, weekly or monthly data plan to the next month, giving you a second chance to use it.

  1. Daily Plans valid for a day, plus 1 extra or grace day, making 2 days for the expired data to wipe out.
  2. Weekly Plans valid for 7 days, plus 3 extra or grace days, making 8 days validity period.
  3. Monthly Plans valid for 30 days (a month), plus 7 extra days, making 37 days validity period for the data to be wiped out.

You can start to subscribe to any data plans of your choice and decides to set your mind at peace. However, we hope other networks in Nigeria follows suite.
