Let say you want to move from blogger to word Press or the other way round, from Word press to blogger and you want don't want to lose any of your data or files like blog post, comments and blog pages ,now shall we do in other for this not to happen. this is the big Question . I was asked by a blogger sometime ago that "HOW CAN I RECOVER MY HACKED BLOG DATA FILES LIKE POST, PAGES AND COMMENT" And i asked him did you backup them he said NO .

So backing up blog post, pages and comments is very important that is why we will be teaching you how you can do that today this post, just cool down and read every instruction given on this article
We have already discussed how to backup and restore your Blogger template in our previous article. This tutorial will guide you how to backup all content of your Blogger blog including posts, pages and comments.


How To Backup your blog posts, pages & comments


Blogger has made it super easy to backup your blog content in a .xml file. Follow this step-by-step guide - 
  1. First, login to your Blogger Dashboard.
  2. Go to Settings and click "Others" option from the sub-menu.
  3. Under Import & back up section, click "Back up content" button.
                                                                   

Now a pop up box will open. Tap "Save to your computer" button to download a backup of your blog. That's it.
You can open the downloaded xml file with any text editor application like Notepad++. Note that, this backup xml file doesn't contain your blog template and widgets.

How to Restore content into your blog

You can import posts and comments from the .xml files into your Blogger blog. Follow these steps - 
  1. Again login to your Blogger Dashboard.
  2. Go to Settings > Others.
  3. Click "Import content" button under Import & back up section.
  4. Now click "Import from computer" button and choose the .xml file from your computer.

Once uploaded, all the imported posts, comments and pages will be published on your blog automatically, sorted by date and merged with the previous content.
